Green Energy = Jobs in Ireland

Last week “The Business of Bio-energy” conference took place in Dublin. The theme for the conference was ‘From Field to Finance – Commercialising Ireland’s Potential’ and they looked specifically at Ireland’s bioenergy industry. According to speakers, Ireland’s bioenergy sector could have the potential to create thousands of green jobs across the country particularly in the biogas area.

We are following the example other countries started a few years ago. In Germany there are currently 367,400 people employed in the renewable energy sources sector alone, which represents an increase of 129% since 2004; and in the USA, it is expected that 800,000 new jobs will be created directly and indirectly by 2022.

This is great news as this news brings new business opportunities for our tradesmen to take advantage of and grow their businesses in a time when growth is very difficult. If you are a tradesmen wondering what you should do next, then we at Onlinetradesmen.ie recommend looking into the Green Energy sector, as it is a sector that is going to grow quickly, so get involved in Green Energy and be a business that grows in 2011.
